Welcome New Harvest Parents!

This morning we put this web address to my blog in the service program. I'm glad you found it. You can use this resource to communicate with me, or you can email me here. I post blogs throughout the week that reflect my thoughts, trends in ministry, and important information. You may also find some videos of our students or volunteers from time-to-time.

Please feel free to make a bookmark, or subscribe to the RSS feed.

I love the interactivity of a blog. You can comment on any of the posts! In fact I have a question for you:

If you could teach your student/child ONE thing by the time they graduated high school, what would you want that to be?

A'right, now it's time to comment. Please comment below and let me know what that ONE thing would be. The 10th parent to comment will get a Turnpike sweatshirt (hoodie), so include your full name in that comment.

Surprised no one has posted anything yet! So I will kick it off and forefit winning the hoodie. :) I really like the 7 CheckPoints Principle and one really stands out in my mind that I would like for my kids to firmly hold true in their lives. Authentic Faith: Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding. In ALL your ways acknowledge Him and HE will make your path straight. Thanks for opening up communication. I am trying to understand this blog thing. It seems to be a great tool.

Hi, Micah. Jessica is just entering Catalyst, and we're not even sure she'll be able to come regularly because it's on Sunday afternoons, BUT the one thing I would want her to know by the time she leaves high school is that God is real, not just some concept or ideal, but He is active and intentional and the most important piece of the puzzle of her life. Until she understands that, she'll always feel incomplete and be searching for wholeness.
